Organic Fruit and Veggie Cheat Sheet

May 4, 2010

I prefer to buy organic produce for our family, for both health and environmental reasons, however our budget simply won’t allow for me to buy 100% organic, 100% of the time.  I do try to be mindful of which foods are higher in pesticides; soft skinned fruit like peaches and strawberries, and buy organic for what the kids eat the most of; apples and bananas.

Thanks to EvilAngela for pointing out this awesome printable “cheat sheet” in handy-dandy business card size.  Print it out, stash it in your wallet or bag, and always have a super-cute reminder of the “dirty dozen” and the “clean fifteen”.   Fun doodley images means even non-reading kids can help with the list.  Thanks My Paper Crane for this nifty fun idea!
